Good news for EPS pensioners: Nationwide pension access from any bank, any branch starting January 1

Starting January 1, 2025, over 78 lakh EPS pensioners will benefit from the newly approved Centralized Pension Payment System (CPPS). Union Minister of Labour and Employment, Mansukh Mandaviya, announced this initiative, which allows pensioners to receive their pensions from any bank or branch across India. This marks a significant modernisation of the EPFO, promising a seamless and efficient disbursement mechanism.
